Scott is an Integrative psychotherapist working in private practice in Sheffield and Bawtry in Yorkshire and Retford in Nottinghamshire. His clinical experience includes short term psychotherapeutic work with National Health Service patients in a Primary Care Trust setting and long-term psychotherapeutic work with adults at the UK’s leading mental health charity. Scott’s work in both settings has been extensively centred on clients with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, loss, anger, addictions, alcoholism, sexuality and trauma. He has a strong and long running interest in the emotional well being of serving and ex-services personnel and their families. Scott’s psychotherapeutic and counselling work integrates a psychodynamic and analytic approach which emphasises recent research into neuroscience and its role in attachment, trauma and depth psychology and how working with these factors may assist clients achieve changes in their lives. For the past 20 years Scott has also had extensive experience working in private enterprise and the public and education sectors in Australia and United Kingdom.
